I went for a ride yesterday and I had a very nice time. Nothing out of the ordinary happened.

I feel it's important to say that the overwhelming majority of motorcyclists are not breaking bones, losing feet, getting hit by large trucks or doing anything else at all detrimental to their health.A lot of these posts on r/motorcycles are "first timers" and "first accidents", possibly leading some people to think the linear progression of motorcycle ownership is purchase straight to serious injury or death.Just like the evening news, tragic calamities are more interesting than mundane events. The top two posts here now are about utterly life-changing accidents. I just want people to know that those are outliers, and absolutely not normal. via /r/motorcycles https://www.reddit.com/r/motorcycles/comments/f1m40w/i_went_for_a_ride_yesterday_and_i_had_a_very_nice/?utm_source=ifttt
