I know this probably sounds very noob, but today I rode to work and back in downtown Houston. I’ve had my bike and license for the past month, but have been limiting myself to only riding after 11 pm to practice basic stuff like not stalling from a stop, braking quickly without locking my rear wheel, and counter steering. I chose today because I’m in Houston, and on Fridays oil and gas workers have the day off, so there’s significantly less traffic. Commute went flawless, just felt the bikes needs and watched out for drivers. Still have a lot to learn and practice, but proud of the commitment and progress I’ve made. via /r/motorcycles https://www.reddit.com/r/motorcycles/comments/f0jrmk/completed_my_first_commute_in_rush_hour/?utm_source=ifttt
