Alright, so I've already read the yays and nays of this vest. Nays being that it shouldn't be used on the track. I roll my eyes at this because the only difference is the algorithms. The Tech Air Race already has the capability to accept either the street or race algorithm. Am I the only skeptical one to think this is just a clever marketing tactic to not completely wipe out the earlier renditions of the Tech Air line? Couldn't a savvy computer guy force the Race algorithm into the Tech Air 5 CPU through a different app? Say like using TuneECU to install different fuel maps instead of buying a DealerTool/Power Commander? I've never used Alpinestars' software, but I'm in the market for one of their vests.
