Why did the oil come out of my bike like this?

Hello all, got a bike that was sitting for 7 months. It’s a 1985 Yamaha virago xv700 with the starter clutch issue. I’m new to bikes and anything mechanical really, so I got this as a low risk project. I took the carbs out, cleaned them and left them out overnight. It rained that night I took them out (bike had a cover on it) and I’m afraid water could’ve gotten into the intake manifold. I drained the oil and it came out this color.
