So today I made the mistake of riding to work on bike without checking the weather. When I left work I got the lovely surprise of an inch of fresh snow. Me being a stubborn Canadian who thinks he can drive in any weather decides to try to ride home. I dropped the bike twice leaving the lot at which point I gave up and left the bike at work. Luckily i’m fine and my bike only has a bent brake pedal as well as scuffed sliders. For those of you who live in canada or other climates like that. Learn from my mistake and know when to leave the bike and get a ride home. Luckily I didn’t make it out of the lot because if I did I would’ve probably dropped in at a real speed and been injured. Set down your ego and get a drive home. Respect the snow. via /r/motorcycles https://www.reddit.com/r/motorcycles/comments/ekmab0/my_lesson_of_respecting_mother_nature/?utm_source=ifttt
