I ride in the winter, because it shaves a lot of time/money off my commute. I don't ride when it's below freezing unless the roads are BONE dry. I have all the appropriate gear.Today, I was riding home, the roads were wet but it was almost 45 degrees, and no ice/slush. I didn't give it a second thought. I was slowing down gently from 55mph... and down I went. There was a slush puddle I had no hope of seeing, and I must've caught it just right.Fortunately, I gear up like you would not believe, especially in inclement weather. If I weren't wearing padded leathers and riding boots, I imagine I'd be pretty sore right now. But we'll see tomorrow, ha.Definitely learned some lessons, and fortunately the (relatively) easy way. Bike needs some help though, for sure. via /r/motorcycles https://www.reddit.com/r/motorcycles/comments/ellpp3/knew_the_risks_took_em_anyway_no_one_to_blame_but/?utm_source=ifttt
