My riding season came to an abrupt end last year in September when I went on a road trip with my CBR600RR. I was on a pitch dark highway in the middle of nowhere, when a herd of cows escaped from their ranch and was crossing the highway.Braked as hard as I could (down from 90km/h to 15-20km/h) and hit the side of a cow. The bike launched me over the cow and thankfully I hit pavement instead of the cow. I was fully geared with leathers, so I walked away from the accident with minimal injuries.The cow is ok. The rider is ok. The bike is not so ok. Now I have a funny story to tell for years to come 😂Be careful in quieter areas.
