I feel like an idiot.

So at my apartment we have this stupid bump at the gate. This hasn't been an issue with my bike ever. I always had enough ground clearance.Came home yesterday and my remote for the gate didn't want to work properly, so I moved my bike closer to the motor itself and got the gate open. I then went in on quite a shitty angle and caught my sump on that little bump.No biggy, this has happened once before on another bump while carrying a passenger and yeah it's bad, but I know at the bottom of my sump there is a little piece of protruding metal which is supposed to be the lowest point on the bike to catch instead of the sump itself or the exhaust.I checked quickly and couldn't find much damage. A couple hours later I had an appointment for work. When I arrived I noticed I have a small oil leak, my heart just about stopped at that point. It seems that piece of protruding metal that caught on the bump caused a really small crack in the bottom of my sump, which is now ever so slightly leaking oil.I feel so stupid, I have been living here for 4 years now and obviously this will happen just 2 months before we move out.I already called the shop, unfortunately they can only help on Monday, but I will be taking her in today as it's not like I will be able to ride her now anyway. The positive side is that now I have an excuse to miss those damn boring Monday meetings. via /r/motorcycles https://www.reddit.com/r/motorcycles/comments/en4btw/i_feel_like_an_idiot/?utm_source=ifttt
