Helping my friend do maintenance on his first bike and we found something rather odd...

So my buddy bought his first motorcycle, an 07 SV650s! He found it at a dealer and we went for a couple test rides to make sure everything was ok.Well today we are doing a full routine maintenance on the bike because we are unsure the story of it's past.
