Hey,I have an old 1975 enduro that I'm tying to get running. The good news is that I've got it running, the bad news is that it spits gas/oil from the top of my carburetor, it seems like it is also coming from the tail pipe. The red box in this image shows where it is spitting from the carb.I had thought that it was possible that my spark wasn't strong and not all the fuel was being ignited, so I changed the spark plug but saw no improvement. I then thought it was a bad seal in the effected section of the carb, so I changed that too and still have seen no improvement. I removed my carb, cleaned it, and still saw no improvement. While the carb was off I kicked the engine a few times and confirmed that oil/gas (the fluid is black, I can't tell if that's dirty gas or oil) is spitting from the intake of the engine back into the carb. When I cleaned my carb I saw no evidence of oil in the bowl, or issues with the bowl float valve.I'm not really sure what else it can be. I'm wondering if can be too much oil? Any help is appreciated. via /r/motorcycles https://www.reddit.com/r/motorcycles/comments/er3vya/1975_yamaha_dt175_spitting_oilgas_from_top_of/?utm_source=ifttt
