I recently saw a post on this subreddit asking if other people had lost interest in their cars due to riding a motorcycle, which made we want to post my own opinion because it seems to be different.I have been a massive car nerd my entire life, all I've ever wanted was to have the car that makes people turn their heads in awe as I drive by. But after my best friend let me ride his ninja 250 I fell in love with bikes as well. Now my parents are very against motorcycles meaning it wasn't until 3 years later, after I had moved to college, that I was finally able to buy a motorcycle. At this same time I owned a relatively fast hyundai genesis coupe that I absolutely loved but once I bought the bike I hardly drove it anymore and started to lose interest like many others of you have. Then one day it was a little chilly, a little rainy, and I just didn't quite feel like bundling up for a ride so I drove my car and holy cow did it feel good. That day I realized that it's not just one or the other that is more fun. Both are fun in their own ways, and I couldn't live without either. My motorcycle has made me appreciate my car even more because I have become more in tune with where the strong suits of my car are versus my motorcycle.I guess what I'm trying to say is if your losing interest in your car or are no longer interested in getting what used to be your dream car, try looking at driving differently. Every once in awhile try to enjoy a nice quiet ride to work, enjoy the ability to listen to good music without too much road noise. Once you see the the benefits to both worlds you will start to appreciate them both just as much. via /r/motorcycles https://www.reddit.com/r/motorcycles/comments/e8wy1t/the_relationship_between_my_motorcycle_and_my_car/?utm_source=ifttt
