Replacing or adding back brake to front brake when doing controlled stops

Hi,We've all heard that in terms of smooth braking, the last portion should be with the back brake as it doesn't transfer all the weight forward aggressively like the front brake does. So does this mean that ideally you would use the front brake for the first portion and then come off that *replace* it with the back brake only for the very last part - or should you stay on the front brake *and* add the back brake in as well? I'm not talking about an all-hands-on-deck- emergency break, I just mean coming to a normal controlled stop for lights or coming to traffic. Thanks via /r/motorcycles https://www.reddit.com/r/motorcycles/comments/egael0/replacing_or_adding_back_brake_to_front_brake/?utm_source=ifttt
