I bought a vortex v3 and it leaks like crazy when I lift the tank. I haven't gotten to ride the bike with it on yet. At first I thought it might be from around the base gasket where it contacts the tank. I contacted vortex and they sent me new gaskets but it didn't help. Now it looks like it might be from the threaded cap o-ring, or both gaskets.
