So I changed the oil for the very first time on my 2006 Yamaha r6 I followed every instruction meticulously and I used 10w40 oil and added exactly 2.6L or 2.75 quarts of oil which is recommended and changed out the oil filter as well with a K&N 204-1. Me thinking I did a good job went to start the bike and it started but the engine was making ticking sound so I turned it off and me thinking I was just paranoid and just hearing things I start it back up and then let is run for 30seconds and shut it off quickly because the noise became louder and now the bike will not start and the oil on the dip stick has many air bubbles in it I don’t know what I did wrong. And my garage is at 0 degrees celsius if that helps. via /r/motorcycles https://www.reddit.com/r/motorcycles/comments/ebr4qg/i_tried_changing_the_oil_now_my_bike_wont_start/?utm_source=ifttt
