How much money to get me on the road (UK)? Financial advice for a beginner

Hi everyone! I'm a 23 year old bloke based in England and I really want to get on the road, but before I commit I want to know roughly how much it's going to cost me.So I'm talking training courses, test, bike cost (will probably get it on finance) and finally the dreaded insurance. Be brutally honest with me because I might need a reality check here haha.I've got my heart set on a Honda Rebel 500 which I was thinking of getting on finance. However, I am willing to take some recommendations on bike choice for a beginner. I'm looking to do a fair bit of travelling on my bike so I'm looking for something suited for distance and comfort but obviously still fun to ride.
