I've been lucky, all my bikes have been pretty reliable (despite my sometimes ham-fisted maintenance and abuse) and have always given me good service. But some mates haven't been so lucky. For example, my mate Kev had an ex-police Norton Commando 850 that was fine once it was running, but getting it started from stone cold was like Russian roulette. If the procedure wasn't followed religiously, it would kick back like a stallion, then refuse to even make a cough until the spark plugs had been removed and dried off.Or Pete's Yam XS250 which started fine when hot, and when stone cold. But if it was warm, after sitting for about 30 mins to an hour, forget it. You'd simply flatten the battery or collapse with exhaustion before you got it going. It was best to just leave it to go stone cold. What bad-tempered bikes have you owned? via /r/motorcycles https://www.reddit.com/r/motorcycles/comments/ef15op/evil_bikes_have_you_had_one/?utm_source=ifttt
