After one year and 3000 miles, the bell tolls for me.

I dropped the bike. Decided to go for a ride because we finally got a break in the rain, and I wanted to exercise my unwinterized bike. There's been some heavy rain going on lately, so the rivers are running high and some low lying farmland is pretty soggy as well. I pulled off onto a gravel turnout to admire the view, but forgot one very important thing. Gravel moves. Got a little too heavy with the brakes and lost the front end right before I came to a stop. Next thing I know, the bike is on the ground and I'm awkwardly straddling this now sideways motorcycle. After I had gathered myself, I hit the kill switch (not like it would've done much, the bike killed itself when it tipped over) and legged it back up.Now begins the search to see what broke. Thankfully, nothing. The bike actually fared pretty well. Just some scrapes on the pannier and scuffs on the bar end. via /r/motorcycles https://www.reddit.com/r/motorcycles/comments/edxmrn/after_one_year_and_3000_miles_the_bell_tolls_for/?utm_source=ifttt
