To preface, I'm still very new with driving in all. I had only got my actual drivers license a month before my motorcycle license, so needless to say I'm a very nooby but safe rider and never lane split due to my inexperience.I was riding home from work during rush hour and just bearing the traffic because I don't want to mess up. This guy pulled beside me in a nice cruiser and we waved, I assumed he was going to lane split so I just stuck in the traffic. After a couple mins he pulled ahead of me and gave me the hand signal to follow. In no time I was lane splitting, and was very nervous but I kept my cool so I don't scrape someone or dump my bike. Luckily I understood hand signals in groups because I had ridden with my brother and Dad before, so that made everything much smoother. After about 10 mins of riding together I had to part ways, so I waved bye and got on my exit.Having a motorcycle truly is like having a second family, and thanks so much fellow rider for giving me a great lesson! via /r/motorcycles https://www.reddit.com/r/motorcycles/comments/dsxovo/thank_you_to_the_stranger_who_showed_me_how_to/?utm_source=ifttt
