Quieter Exhaust

All the aftermarket exhaust replacements seem to be about adding sound, making the bike louder.Does anyone make an aftermarket exhaust whose claim to fame is actually being quieter?I've heard that cops often use the sound of a bike as an indicator of what sort of riding is likely being performed. And certainly people enjoying a quiet afternoon or trying to sleep don't appreciate loud pipes ripping through the neighborhood streets.So if you want to get about your business without attracting the wrong type of attention, you'd want a quieter bike. Electric bikes are obviously one option.
