Motorcycle vs car as a first vehicle. Give me opinions.

I'm turning 18 soon and everyone's been getting their car drivers licenses. I really don't like cars. I mean I can't even imagine myself driving one. I just feel uncomfortable with controlling such a huge object, moving so much weight. However, I love motorcycles. I haven't rode one yet, but I really like the looks of them and that you can feel the air so on. I think I want a cruiser or just some used cheap motorcycle. I got to talk with my mom about this and during ~3 months convinced her that I should get a motorcycle license as I really want to ride a motorcycle. I also really like to ride bicycles, bmx and mountain biking. I need the bike to get to school and other places. I also really like just riding around with my bike so if I had a motorcycle I feel like I'd love to travel on it. But then there's safety - I am always extra careful when doing anything and I know there are many crazy car drivers out there so I'd probably wear full gear protection, even with the back guard. So what's your opinions on this? I don't really have money to waste on 2 licenses so I can only pick 1 but I think it should be a moto license. via /r/motorcycles https://www.reddit.com/r/motorcycles/comments/dqt6h5/motorcycle_vs_car_as_a_first_vehicle_give_me/?utm_source=ifttt
