Light rain is more dangerous than regular rain?

I know the first minutes after it starts raining are the most slippery ones because of all the oil and dirt. But what when it rains for hours but a very light rain?Because today it's been raining for hours but a very light rain, only enough to make roads wet, but not wash them. I felt the rear wheel sliding twice in turns and I was going slower than I usually do in the rain.Including today, I only felt that 3 times since I got my motorcycle, and I feel like I'm on fire when I regain traction because the sliding makes me feel so anxious.
