Hit the highway for the first time today

Got my first bike a week ago and have been riding it around Manhattan since I’m going to school there, and have really only gotten up to third gear in some of the emptier streets.Rode it to NJ today to visit my parents and was forced to hit an actual highway on the way for the first time.Holy. Shit. I only got to like 80 mph indicated but I felt like I was entering warp speed.
