Driving in the Scottish winter

Hello everyone,I'm having my license and am driving on the roads for 3 months now, and here in Scotland the winter is starting to come.When I woke up this morning my motorcycle was covered in ice and I had to scratch my mirrors before I took off.​When it starts to really snow and Ice, would it be reasonable to commute on my bike while driving varefull?
