Father in law is in a hospice state (end of life care). I’m with my family that flew in, we are across town usually a 20min ride in light traffic. I get a frantic call from my SO, “dads not ok, in think this is it. Death bed time, you need to get here.” Problem is that in PM hours that 20min ride is an 45-60min ride now due to traffic. Thanks to the Defiant( my fjr1300) I was able to lane split and get there within 25-30min( traffic was so backed up plus rain I could have easily been there an hour). The acceleration, superb brakes and maneuverability it lent me may have given me a last moment with father in law. Another reason why I’ve always loved motorcycles, now it’s a personal reason to love them more.I wish they would decriminalize lame split here in Florida. via /r/motorcycles https://www.reddit.com/r/motorcycles/comments/dwzai5/bike_just_got_me_to_my_fil_in_hospice_state/?utm_source=ifttt
