I just bought a 1985 Cagiva Aletta Oro S1 for 400 eurosThe things that work/are in good condition are the lights, brakes, powertrain, frame and suspension.Everything else is either broken or missing. The bike was neglected in it's life and sat for at least 12 years, I'll need to invest a lot of work to make it presentable again. Not much is needed to make it road legal thankfully, just mirrors and turn signals, everything else is already good. That aside, I always wanted a small, quick 2 stroke, and everything this sub says about performance 2t's is true. Coming on the pipe is intoxicating, even this tiny little 125 accelerates like it hates the past. Incredibly light as well. It's everything I want from a beginner bike. Why someone would let it deteriorate like that is beyond me... at least the very basics are well preserved, the low mileage helps as well.I'll restore this bike, they are rare as it is. Fortunately this one was never seriously damaged or worn out and rides great, just needs primarily visual care. Some pics are here via /r/motorcycles https://www.reddit.com/r/motorcycles/comments/donkon/i_bought_this_400_euro_heap_as_my_first_bike/?utm_source=ifttt
