How could I get into this amazing hobby

I found out about cafe racers, literally a few days ago. Before then, I knew jack shit about bikes, but now I am very interested in learning. I have been googling plenty about how to build a cafe racer, and what bikes are best suited to this kind of conversion/customization, but I find there to be less information about these kind of bikes than what I need being a absolute beginner. I browse this sub looking at peoples sweet rides, not knowing anything about what kind of effort, money, and time this kind of project takes, so I don't even know if it's a project worth even considering embarking on. I'm just a teenager, never even touched a motorcycle, (I'm old enough to drive though) this would be a spring project, then I would be getting my bike licence over the summer. I am sure there are so many things I haven't thought of, but if you guys had any resources/things you were willing to share about how to learn or get into the world of cafe racers or even bikes, I would really appreciate it.
