Hit a deer tonight, stay safe out there guys.

Caught him jumping out out of the corner of my eye - too late to avoid, but getting on the throttle let me stay upright through the impact. Hit him going about 60mph. Damage is largely cosmetic... but it’s an ex-police bike, so cosmetic might just be unobtanium. Crash bars and fairings are wrecked, headlight knocked out, valve cover and header dented, but nothing structural I think.Trying to stay positive and count my blessings, but can’t seem to shake the heartbreak.
