Best way to carry a medical kit for riding? On/in the bike or on person?

Hey guys, just wondering what's schools of thought there for carrying an ifak or similar for riding. I always ride with one that covers minor things to more serious trauma and plan to attend a class to learn more. But I have to wonder what's the best way to do, understanding that there probably isn't one and just opinions.I'm weighing up the idea of a good place to keep it on the bike, or on my person and the pros and cons of both. On one hand if I'm unlucky enough to come off the bike, and my kit is in it, then it's not doing me any good unless I can get to it. I have saddlebags, but if my bike is on it's side I can't open the one on the ground if my kit is in it right. But if it's with my bike it is very secure and otherwise safe. Then there's the idea to carry it on my belt, but that also comes off to the worst case scenario where I come off and lose it in a tumble. But otherwise it's always very handy and fast to access.Anyways I'm sure I'm missing a lot, so I'd appreciate other thoughts. via /r/motorcycles https://www.reddit.com/r/motorcycles/comments/djzq1i/best_way_to_carry_a_medical_kit_for_riding_onin/?utm_source=ifttt
