So my buddy crashed my fz09 back in august and we decided to go through my insurance since the bike got totaled out and id just have him pay my deductible and cost of my insurance when it goes up. He hasnt payed me a dime and its been about 3 weeks since he crashed it. Hes been ignoring me and not responding to my texts. Ive already settled everything with insurance and bought the bike back and im going to fix it myself. I think my only option is to sue him to get the money he owes me. How much should i sue him for? Etc pre-accident bike value? Or cost of deductible?
