So, I just wanted to share an experience in hopes I can prevent other people from dealing with it.This weekend I had an ear infection. Never had one before but basically one half of your head has a really bad cold. Comes with the obvious lack of equilibrium that you’d expect from something that fills your inner ear up with garbage.I was feeling “okay” on Tuesday, and moreover, I was tired of staying off my bike. Headed into work as usual, and I thought I was doing okay, till someone stopped short in front of me. Reaction time was worse than usual of course, cuz I was sick/tired, but I did manage to stop before I hit them. However, as I had a giant glob of mucus for an inner ear, I didn’t have the balance that I needed to stay upright, and down I went, at about 5 and decelerating.First time I’ve ever put a bike down, I plan to have it be my last, but I thought I’d share the PSA. People are all about avoiding drunk driving and fatigued driving, but no one really thinks about sick driving. It’s less of a big deal in a car, because you can be a little more out of it and still be safe. But just be careful with it on a bike, I didn’t think to add it to the list of things not to do, and it was to my dismay. via /r/motorcycles https://www.reddit.com/r/motorcycles/comments/d65w93/psa_sick_riding/?utm_source=ifttt
