Hey all...I am sure most of you have had experience with people talking about the negative when it comes to motorcycle riding. "My friend died in an accident" "did you hear about the accident on the freeway? he definitely dead". As a rider, I just sit there and say, "wow that is tragic". But in reality, it makes me question riding and question the joy I get out of it. It lessens the thrill and opens the "something bad could really happen". Which I know is true but how come everyone always has a bad story about riding, I am so sick of it because it brings me so much joy, freedom, escapism and time for myself that I don't feel these people even understand. I guess my question is, how do you deal with coworkers, strangers, family, etc, that always have a "story" about someone dying or whathaveyou. It gets down on me because it makes me feel like I cannot have a good time and I am doing something wrong, can anyone relate? via /r/motorcycles https://www.reddit.com/r/motorcycles/comments/d4f25k/how_do_you_all_deal_with_people_always_bring_up/?utm_source=ifttt
