Well, after only 6 months of riding, and on a new bike, I managed to catch a flat while riding without my cell phone or wallet! I was planning on going up the highway and back, all of 10 miles. So I'm in a affluent area, very much Caucasian, and I'm Asian. Most people are friendly, but today wasn't that. I couldn't get anyone to let me borrow a cell phone to make a call, I promise I'm not intimidating. I caught another biker! He let me use his. Offered to stay until I got a tow!I don't know if it's possible but I didn't let the tires warm up before ripping it open, by the looks of it maybe something punctured it. By the time I decided to turn back around, I noticed my front handlebars were shaky, and my rear was sliding out from under me. I turn my head back and see the rear is riding on the rim. I try and safely ride it to the nearest store, a couple hundred feet away. Tow company took 1 hour to get there (didn't have towing, out of pocket $150), transported it to a mechanic, now waiting to see how much a new tire will be. SuperCorsa tire on the RS trim line, yay! So...... what was supposed to be a therapy relief ride turned into a fiasco. On the plus side the clouds were dark, so it didn't start raining. I got home safely, can't ask for more than that. via /r/motorcycles https://www.reddit.com/r/motorcycles/comments/d690cn/caught_a_flat_2018_triumph_street_triple/?utm_source=ifttt
