What to do if you witness a motorcycle crash

Saw a bunch of posts about that Influencer and her "crash" and noticed the helmet was taken off, reminded me that maybe not everybody knows what to do after a motorcycle crash. This probably isn't a complete list so feel free to add things or correct me:1: If you're the first one there try and block traffic, the rider is probably totally unprotected.2: Before helping make call 911 or make sure they've already been called.3: Don't remove the helmet (in most cases). You may need to remove it for CPR or if it's stopping them from breathing.4: Don't move the rider unless leaving them where they're laying puts them in imminant danger. Try not to let them move, they may not feel an inury because of adrenaline, could hurt themselves worse without knowing at first.5: Try to make the rider comfortable as possible, without moving or touching them, like providing shade in the sun or talking to keep them calm.6: Try to get info from the rider about their condition to help EMS know what's wrong sooner, if the rider is well enough, don't crowd/overwhelm them.7: Collect info about the accident if you can't help directly, collect info from the rider (if they're okay enough to talk about this) and take pictures talk to witnesses etc.Sources: https://www.bikebandit.com/blog/what-to-do-if-you-witness-a-motorcycle-accident https://motorbikewriter.com/how-to-help-crash-scene/https://jalopnik.com/what-to-do-if-you-witness-a-motorcycle-accident-1787106492https://www.dolmanlaw.com/motorcycle-crash-witness/Edits: messed up numbering, added more to #4. via /r/motorcycles https://www.reddit.com/r/motorcycles/comments/ct9t5h/what_to_do_if_you_witness_a_motorcycle_crash/?utm_source=ifttt
