This is rather unexpected and unusual (riding ergonomics)

I’ve been recovering from a bimolellar ankle fracture from a car accident in January, I’m able to walk on it now and generally get around with a small limp, I can drive, and ride, I’ve noticed that the riding position on my V-Star 650 Classic is actually LESS painful than the seating position in my Mk6 Golf TDI....When I’m sitting on the saddle of the bike and my feet are on the floorboards, they are flatter and less angled than when resting against the accelerator or brake in the car...The riding position of the bike is closer to sitting on a comfortable chair with feet flat on the ground, completely unexpected, and another reason to enjoy motorcycling via /r/motorcycles https://www.reddit.com/r/motorcycles/comments/conwdm/this_is_rather_unexpected_and_unusual_riding/?utm_source=ifttt
