It was a short trip, nothing more than an hour, just around my neighbourhood, and I didn’t go any faster than 50 kmh, but it felt really good. It really was something else, I can’t even find the words to describe it. Sure, I stalled a couple times at intersections and nearly tipped over when I stopped at a stop sign, but I didn’t expect my first ride to be pretty. I know I’ll get better with practice.I also got my first wave too! Another rider was coming in the opposite direction and we exchanged a wave when we passed each other. It made me smile like an idiot; I didn’t think such a small gesture would make such a huge difference, but it did.It just felt really good, and incredibly liberating. It kinda sucks that I got into it so late - I’m 29 years old - and so late into riding season, but better late than never, right? via /r/motorcycles https://www.reddit.com/r/motorcycles/comments/cru5yc/new_rider_got_my_first_bike_a_few_days_ago_went/?utm_source=ifttt
