I purchased tickets last year from MotoGP.com.au (Grand Prix Travel Australia) and they emailed me back my password in plain text. I politely replied warning them of the risks of storing passwords and data plaintext and implored them to start encrypting user data.
One year later, it is clear this has not been done.
This is quite disrespectful to all your customers, GPT, you owe us an apology.
Race fans, please be careful with your personal information and data with MotoGP.com.au. Combine this with Australia's draconian metadata retention and assisted access laws and your information is not safe at all.
Whether you care or not, I thought you all deserved to know about this.
