I sold my CX500 that was collecting dust to a stranger and he actually followed through with his plans to make it his own. We became good friends along the way and I'm happy to show off his hard work

Buyer says he's going to make a cafe racer out of it and I'm thinking probably pipe dreams but I'm happy to see it gone. It only took him like two months from start to finish with bare basic tools and a garage that doesn't even have an electrical outlet. The only thing I helped him on was I welded the subframe up for him after he hacked the original tail section off.He used to build bikes in the Philippines and I still giggle when his Filipino friends call the 500 a "big bike".
