Hit A Cat Yesterday

I'm used to riding at night for fun and a few days ago (not yesterday) I was riding on the outskirts of the city where the streets are wide and there's very few cars at 1am , it's not a residential areaI like exploring so I tend to look at everything and go everywhere , after I passed an empty intersection doing 60km/h , I was looking on my left because I saw an interesting building and then all of a sudden I feel this VERY hard hit on the front tire and I barely cought my bike , I thought it might've been a brick or a huge pothole at first but then I looked back and the poor cat was lying on the street , then lost life soon after .I figured it must've been crossing the street when I wasn't looking , I realise it was an empty area but never the less it was avoidable.
