Fucking hell.

I'm pissed at myself. Got my first bike. 2007 Kawi ninja 250r. Had to do an oil change before i learned to ride. Overfilled it by probably around half or more a qrt. Did not change the filter. Didn't know it required less without the filter change. I let it run for about five minuets then gave it some nice and good revs (wanted to hear how it sounded) when i read on in the forums about how much i need to put in i killed the bike and drained it to the right amount. Again. I know pretty much nothing about motorcycles. Learning from my mistakes. What did i do. What should i do now. (Still starts and idles but smoked a fair bit when left at idle, after the oil drain no visible smoke but the smell is present.)Thanks guys.
