I feel like this will fall on deaf ears, but for the first time in my life I've actually enjoyed my commute.I've always looked at driving as a secondary activity that ties together two "primary" activities (e.g. being at work or chillin' at the house; being at the house chilling or being on vacation in a hotel in Vegas). I am guilty of road rage, lack of patience, et al.I never purchased a motorcycle prior to now (I'm 38) because my uncle died on his when I was 16 - my mom was vehemently opposed to me owning one, and it was never something I could afford as I had other financial goals in life. My wife recently became reunited with her biological father (she was adopted at birth) and he and his entire family ride. It was only a matter of time before we all caught the bug, and we both now ride. With that said - I'm now a near daily rider (living in AZ, we have great weather for it), and I'm in love with the ride. When I'm commuting, my head is clear, I'm hearing the buzz of my exhaust, feeling the wind on my chest, and enjoying the freedom of it all. It's great. I'm hooked. via /r/motorcycles https://www.reddit.com/r/motorcycles/comments/c0178n/my_motorcycle_has_finally_allowed_me_to_enjoy_the/?utm_source=ifttt
