I Clipped A Deer Today.

I am writing this about 30 minuets after the incident, so its still fresh.I was on the way home from seeing my parents, driving my 1999 Yamaha V-Star 1100 along a two lane road. Wooded on both sides. Speed limit is 45mph, Im probably going 65mph. Out of the corner of my eye i catch a glimpse of something I can only describe as a blur coming from the woods. The next bit was just pure instinct. I hit my front brakes, downshift, and lock my back causing the tail to slide sideways as the deer is dashing right in front of me. My front tire hits his back leg and I RIDE OUT OF IT.I had to stop at the next gas station just to catch my breath. It has to be one of the scariest experiences on a bike that ive ever had.
