Concerns about Slip-On Exhaust!

I need to talk about aftermarket slip-on exhausts. I bought one and had it installed and now after the fact I'm hearing a bunch of talk about how now I need a power commander or an ECU flash, etc... This has caught me by surprise (because I guess I'm an idiot and didn't do my research). So now my biggest concern is the potential for damage to my engine/components if i DON'T get any additional tuning done. I haven't been able to get a straight forward answer because it sounds like people honestly just don't know. So Reddit, gimme your thoughts, does my bike need an ECU flash or power commander after installing JUST a slip-on exhaust? Or, will the bike be fine without it? It seems the concern may be lack of back pressure onto the system or an improper air/fuel mixture. Would love to hear from r/Trackdays!Bike: 2018 R6Exhaust: Toce Double Down Slip-On via /r/Trackdays https://www.reddit.com/r/Trackdays/comments/bwim2k/concerns_about_slipon_exhaust/?utm_source=ifttt
