Should I use my current CBR500R as a beginner track bike or should I buy something more track oriented?

I just had my second track day last weekend and I loved it. I brought my CBR500R to it and I feel like it's sufficient for now as a beginner bike for me to learn some basics on track. It has only 1500 miles and the only mods are two shorty levers and a tank grip. However I think it will prevent me from leaning more as the footpegs was scraping the ground at one time.I'm wondering should I invest in a $300+ rearset so that I can keep progressing on this bike or should I just sell it and buy a more track oriented(or even dedicated track) bike? I'm not commuting w/ the bike but might be occasionally riding in the canyons, but probably the major uses would be on the track. Thanks in advance for any advice! via /r/Trackdays https://www.reddit.com/r/Trackdays/comments/bomxpy/should_i_use_my_current_cbr500r_as_a_beginner/?utm_source=ifttt
