Motorcyclist Hit By Falling Tree

I went out for a ride yesterday and about 10 minutes before I rolled through this section, a tree broke and fell into the roadway. As it was coming down, it hit a motorcyclist that was passing through. What the hell are the odds of that? The rider was lying about 50 feet beyond the tree and the motorcycle just beyond him. He was clotheslined off his bike. I helped the rangers clear the roadway to get the ambulance through. He was in and out of consciousness, but nothing appeared to be broken badly (at least from the outside).
