Had a scary rear slide today wanted to figure out why?

Turn was a tight left hander, uphill, slightly on the throttle and my rear started stepping out.I scraped the peg, luckily have folding pegs, and regained traction.Spoke to my buddy about it later and he suggested lowering pressures to 32 rear (hot). Was running around 36 hot.Tires are q3+ with a few weekends on themHad suspension tuned to my weight recently, but still experimenting with pressures. Is 32 hot ok to run on the q3+ ? I was thinking maybe the tires were just getting a bit old/on their last legs.. via /r/Trackdays https://www.reddit.com/r/Trackdays/comments/bqc22c/had_a_scary_rear_slide_today_wanted_to_figure_out/?utm_source=ifttt
