Bike almost stolen. Fence saves the day.

So this happened today. I live in London, Isle of Dogs.I had to drive in ASDA, so I parked my bike in the large parking lot. I'm aware of how many bikes get stolen in London, so I parked it right in the middle with good view on it. I went in, spent perhaps 5 minutes in the shop, and as I come out, *poof, it's gone*. My heart just dropped, I was standing there right where my bike was, looking around like "wtf why me". Suddenly there's 4 black girls waving to me from their car. I come up to them and they tell me that some skinny dude just came, and pushed my bike away into area between buildings. I thank them and just run towards there. As I run closer to where they pointed I see my motorbike on the ground right after pedestian fence. I was relieved and angry at the same time. It turns out the thief was trying to push the motorbike through a pedestrian gate, hit it with a handle, because it was super tight, couldn't get through fast enough, so had hit some wooden parts off the fence to try and get the motorbike through, but had dropped it like a clumsy piece of shit. Now it's a cbr1000rr, and it's quite heavy, so the thief wasn't able to lift it back up. He had tried, but all he did was rip off part of the plastics. I had done a fresh paint job on the bike a month ago. It's destroyed. The thief also destroyed my fresh clutch cover (now is leaking oil), bent the right handle, etc. The worst part of it, I'm fighting depression, and really struggling to keep it together, and here comes a total piece of shit who porbobly has done nothing with his life, tries to steal it and just breaks some other dudes most valued posession that gives freedom and is literally the only thing gluing his mental state together. To any thieves reading this - literally, go do something with your life, instead of steal from other people struggling with their life.
