Unfortunate crash.

I just learned that an acquaintance I went to HS with and often ran into around town on his bike, passed away in an accident during the Holidays.He was pretty strict about his helmet use even though our state does not require them, but he fell prey to the, “Well, I’m only running up to the gas station” mindset.The accident was a common and dangerous scenario for a biker in the city, a car taking a left hand turn in front of a bike. His speed was estimated at only 25mph. The other driver was cited only for “failure to yield”.
