What were some embarrassing, funny, or facepalm moments that you saw or happened to you at the track or when working on your bike?

I just bought a gsxr750 track bike, put a new battery in it and it would not start. I put new fuel, still nothing, it cranks but just won’t start. Confused as the prev owner started it in front of me and it ran, I kept looking up on forums etc, and trying what people were saying. Couple hours later of worrying about it and trying to figure out whats wrong with it, I remember that suzuki’s need to have the clutch pulled in to start.
