Thoughts on first track day oriented bike?

I live under 5 minutes to the local racetrack, where during the season on Thursdays you always have these bike evenings where normally from 5 to 8 or 6 to 9 you have two groups riding so realistically you get somewhere around 4-5 20 minute sessions. Doesn't cost that much at all either. I only started late in the season with my old '92 Honda CB and managed to get only around 4 evenings before the season was over. This Summer I'm hoping I can do this at least twice a month.Over the winter I bought some track oriented gear (1-piece, boots, gloves) but now I'm starting to look into bikes because the Honda isn't really suited for performance riding. Throughout the season I do ~20k km of touring and daily commuting. I also already have a couple of trips planned out for the upcoming year.I was thinking perhaps I should go for a Honda VFR which I could use to do everything, i.e. touring, commuting, 2-up and track events. Or should I just look into a proper sportbike like a 00-02 ZX6R if I'm thinking of being anywhere near serious?https://i.redd.it/jlin8038et821.jpg via /r/Trackdays https://www.reddit.com/r/Trackdays/comments/ad632d/thoughts_on_first_track_day_oriented_bike/?utm_source=ifttt
