Reaching out to riders near the tail of the dragon...

Planning a trip next year to hit the tail of the dragon. I'd take a week off work and ride around the area for 3-4 days.Weather wise, what's the earliest you can enjoy the roads there? I was thinking around Easter; is that too early? I frequently ride in 40-50F in Canada, but I'd like it to be warm enough that you can get the bike low.Should I just be waiting for June?
